Steve "Chef Stevo" Lundgren, age 55 of Chisago City, Minnesota passed away tragically on November 30th due to a fire at his home. Steve was a longtime chef at Dayton's Iron Horse Restaurant in St. Paul, Lundgren's Gourmet Catering that Steve and his father formed together, American Legion Post 225 in Forest Lake and Waverly Gardens in North Oaks. He loved his 1967 Ford Mustang and his many models of Cadillac.
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Bennett Steven Lundgren in 2014; step-daughter, Tiffany Jacqueline Bowes. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (fiancAC. Skylar) Lundgren and grandchildren Abigail and Jameson; son, Michael (girlfriend Lisa); grandchildren Natalee and Noah; parents, Dale (Marlene) Lundgren; sister, Robyn Jochum and her children, Luke and Jordan.
Celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at First Evangelical Free Church, 2696 Hazelwood Street, Maplewood, MN. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. until time of service.
