Aitkin, Minnesota

Roger N. Strege, age 70 of Aitkin, Minnesota, formerly of Luck, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on December 29, 2019 after a brief battle of cancer.

Roger was extremely talented in automotive restoration and painting.  Roger’s painting and restoration skills can be seen throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, most notably in Garrison, Minnesota where he restored the walleye overlooking Lake Mille Lacs.

Roger is preceded in death by his father, Milton; brothers, Keith and Steven.  He is survived by his wife, Sandra and their children,  Bri (Steve) Seekon, Raina (Bobby) Spack, Brent Strege, Shalynn Strege; grandchildren, Shelby (fiancé, Scott Kramer), Jamison, Miranda, Riley, Barott; siblings, Gretchen (Jerry) Best, Mitch, Gail (Ben) Kobernick and Barb Johnnson; sister-in-law, Gwen Strege; mother, Lillian  numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Bone Lake Lutheran Church, 1101 255th Avenue, Luck, WI.  Family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
