Renee Marcia Vickerman, 60, passed away peacefully May 2, 2020 in Lindstrom, Minnesota surrounded by family. Renee was born March 18, 1960 in Stillwater, Minnesota. She attended and graduated from high school in Hudson, Wisconsin. Renee was employed in a variety of fields over her life including commercial truck driving, owning Logger’s Bar in historic downtown Stillwater and most recently health care administration. She attended college and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Phoenix in 2012. Renee lived her life in pursuit of adventure. She loved the free feeling of driving a motorcycle or convertible, the stories shared when meeting new people and the excitement of traveling to new places.  She enjoyed gardening, crafting and fishing in her spare time. Renee was preceded death by her parents, Donna Mae Boeshans (2018) and Ivan Vickerman (1989). She is survived by her loving daughters, Amber Becker (Greg Becker) and Katie Rubedor-Green (Adam Green); five grandchildren, Mason, Nicholas, Junia, Brody and Charlotte; three sisters, Sheryl Meyer (Mike Meyer), Gloria Bonse (Wayne Bonse) and Lynette Vickerman; and 11 nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Renee’s Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  The family will greet friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home..  Memorials are preferred to the family, which can be mailed to Mattson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, Minnesota 55025 c/o The Vickerman Family.
