Mickey Enfield

Mickey J. Enfield, age 77, of Forest Lake, Minnesota died peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2022 while surrounded by his family.

Mickey was born February 18, 1945 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota the son of Melvin and Gladys (Bosen) Enfield.  He attended school in the Fergus Falls area.  Following graduation, he furthered his education at Moorhead State University before moving to Arizona.

It was in Arizona where he met the love of his life, Connie Engelke.  They were united in marriage and made their home in Arizona before moving to Forest Lake in 1986.

Mickey worked in electrical sales with several companies before they were purchased by other companies.  He retired with Eaton after many years of service.

In his free time, Mickey loved the outdoors.  He was happiest with a fishing pole, bow or rifle in hand.  He loved camping, making ENORMOUS bonfires and sitting around the campfire with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Connie; sons, Mickey Joe Jr. and Sean; siblings, Billy Enfield and Ruth “Snooky” Schouweiler. He will be deeply missed by his children, Anthony (Tina) Enfield, Laurie (Brian) Bachelor; grandchildren, Mickey Jo, Devin, Lacee, Blake, Brian (Andrea), Dillon (Morghain), Kortney (Brett), Katherine, Maxwell (Shelby), Cody, Bailee, Abigayle (Tyler); 13 great grandchildren; his beloved four legged friend, Hoss; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2022 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.
