Corinne Pahklamets

Corinne A. Pahklamets, age 89 of Lindstrom, died Monday, November 15, 2021 following a brief illness.  Corinne was a speech language therapist with the Fridley School District for many years.  She was an active volunteer and board member at Gammelgarden in Scandia, Minnesota.  She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Clara (Almquist) Ekegren; spouse, Kalju Pahklamets; siblings, Harriet Johnson, Donald Ekegren, DeLores Ecklund.  She is survived by her nieces & nephews, Jeff (Julie) Ekegren, Kent (Yvonne) Ecklund, Sherry Ekegren, Kim (Alan) Salmela, Christina Ekegren; great nieces & nephews, Eryn, Ryan, Jesse, Jennifer, Alicia, Cheri, Caitlin, Rebecca, Francisco, Liana; great-great nieces & nephews, Antonio, Angelo, Elias, Clara, Allie, Estraya, Tristina, Javier, Royce, Robert, Wesley, Tyler, Breanna, Haylee.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail North, Scandia.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment at Elim Lutheran Cemetery.  Memorials are preferred to Gammelgarden Museum.
