William "Bill" Eggers

William “Bill” I. Eggers, age 70, of May Township, Minnesota, died peacefully following a determined battle with cancer on Friday, November 15, 2019.  Bill will be remembered as a selfless, caring man who was a great example of being the hands and feet of Christ to others.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Georgia; brother, Randy.  He is survived by his brother, Charles (Carol) Eggers; sister, Nancy (David) Dennis; sister-in-law, Marlys Carlson; nieces and nephew, Sheana, Kristy, Heather, Randy Jr., Maria, Kara; several great nieces and great nephews; his beloved cat, Mabel; numerous devoted friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2019 at Christ Lutheran Church 150 5th Street South, Marine on St. Croix, with a gathering one hour prior.  The family will greet friends from 2:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  Interment at Oakland Cemetery, Marine on St. Croix.  Memorials are preferred to Christ Lutheran Church.
