William “Bill” Damon, age 74, of Stacy, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by loved ones.
Bill grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Roosevelt High School. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout, an accomplishment he remained proud of throughout his life. He continued his education at Dunwoody, where he trained for what would become a lifelong career in welding.
Bill was an avid reader and dog lover who enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved riding his motorcycle and, later, his bicycle. Deer and bird hunting, along with fishing, were also favorite pastimes.
Through work, Bill met Dorothy, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Orlin and Wilhelmina. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Tasha (Tim England); grandchildren, Elliott Friedich and Olliver Damon; and many other family members and friends.
