Wenzel Croone

Wenzel A. Croone "Jim", founder and president of the Copas Fly Rod Company, passed away on April 18, 2017. Jim was born in Scandia, Minnesota on December 21, 1925. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria, parents Raymond and Emma, brothers Carl, Loren and sister Eleanor. He is survived by nieces and nephews: Craig (Shelly) Croone; Brian (Laurie) Croone, Patricia Olson, Robert Olson, Dale (Lori) Croone, Janice (Kevin) Moelter, Scott Sanderude, Linda Sanderude and many grandnieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 25 at the Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail North, Scandia with interment to follow the services at the Elim Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 10-11:30. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Elim Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
