Theresa Negen

Theresa Jo Negen, 55, of Stacy, Minnesota, victoriously won her battle with lung cancer on August 27th, 2019.

Theresa, better known as “Loafie”, was a friend to many from bearded dragons to chinchillas and humans alike! She had a love for helping others and spreading genuine laughs and smiles, wherever she went. You could always find her chatting it up with a stranger she met in a checkout line or cracking jokes with her family. Theresa absolutely adored animals and was a very active member in many different animal rescues and fostered many cats and kittens in her time.

Theresa also loved watching the hummingbirds and tending to her beautiful garden. Her garden was her pride and joy. Every year, she would have the most beautiful garden filled with all different types and colors of flowers. She specifically loved snapdragons and sunflowers. When Theresa wasn’t tending to her beautiful garden, she was drinking iced coffee and cheering on her favorite team, the Minnesota Wild.

Theresa is preceded in death by her father Earl Lindau; and mother Shirley Lindau. She is survived by husband Dale Negen; daughter April Negen; bonus daughter, Amanda Edwards; son Jerrod Negen. She is dearly missed by many fur babies, Mattie, Flopper, Cece, Daisy, Misha, Ruby, Sagwa, and Chins. She is also dearly missed by many grand-furbabies, Major, Xenia, Belle, Gimpy, Capone, Salem, and Monte.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, September 7th at 1PM at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran church in Stacy, Minnesota. Visitation starts at 12. Everyone is encouraged to wear Minnesota Wild gear in her memory.
