Terry Martinson Sr.

Terry Lee Martinson Sr., age 74 of Fridley, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side.  Terry battled a lot of medical issues the past seven months and his once strong body, just could not fight any longer.  He lost this battle Monday, May 30, 2022, at 5AM.  He loved going to the Casinos, Bowling, playing Bingo and even a good Debate every once in a while, but what he loved the most was spending time with his family.  He will be deeply missed by his family and all that knew him.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Mary Martinson; first wife of 47 years, MaryJane Martinson; brother, Donald Martinson; sister, MaryLou Dixon.  He is survived by his second wife, Judy Martinson; children, Chris (Shannon) Martinson, Jennifer (Brian) Solberg, Timothy Martinson, Terry (Sue) Martinson, Becky (Kris) Lindberg; stepchildren, David (Dawn) Mitchell , Ann Mitchell ; grandchildren, Aaron, Mike, Sam (Matia), Nicole (Parker) Ryan, Dani, Isabelle, Eric, Lake, Kelly, Erica, Stephanie; step grandchildren, Cory, Grace (Chase) , J.T , Benjamin ; great grandchildren, Hayden, Kai, Gavin, Evelyn and Maddie; brother, Bernie Martinson; sister, Carol (Jerry) Machlitt; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the Forest Lake American Legion, 355 West Broadway Avenue, Forest Lake, Minnesota 55025.
