Susan M. Heffele

Susan Marie Heffele, age 76, of Chisago City, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2026 while surrounded by her family.

Sue was born on November 16, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and resided in Wisconsin for most her life, before moving to Chisago City in 1997.

Sue devoted her life to her family. She was mostly known for her ability to cook. She could make a gourmet meal out of anything.

Sue is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dave; her sons, David (Kerri) and Darin (Kerrie) Heffele. Her six grandchildren, Peyton, Karl (Addy), Lainey, Alex, Ronin and Mason, and one great granddaughter, Elsie.

Sue was preceded in death by best friend/daughter, Heidi Keller; her parents, Arnold and June Stachowski, and her two brothers, Todd and Donn Stachowski.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming, Minnesota. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
