Age 68 of Wyoming, MN
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, passed away on February 8th, 2025, after a courageous 17-month battle with Glioblastoma. Preceded in death by parents, Lois & Wayne West. Survived by devoted wife, Betty; son, Chris (Ashley); granddaughter, Eleanor; and siblings, Cheryl McClellan (Jim Keating), Mike (Cindy), Mitch (Marie Tyson), and Bruce. He was a 40-year 3M retiree. Steve gave willingly of his time to volunteer for many organizations including the Dakota County Juvenile Detention Center, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Make-A-Wish Foundation and St. Paul Children's Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM, on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN. Family will be greeting friends starting at 1 PM until the service starts at the funeral home.
