Stephen Bentley

Stephen Judson Bentley, age 76, passed away on March 30, 2020.  He graduated from Silver Bay High School in Silver Bay, Minnesota.  Here he excelled in swimming and downhill skiing.  Stephen then attended college at the University of Michigan Tech in Hancock, Michigan and the University of Minnesota in Duluth, Minnesota.  He was employed in the bearing industry, purchasing for Jeno's, Georgia Pacific, and Essentia Health. Stephen enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating.  He loved all the outdoors and exploring the wooded areas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Mary Bentley; sister, Barbara Bentley Getty, and grandson, Jason Gates.

Survived by wife, Melba Langford-Bentley; daughter, Paula (Tom) Hanson; sons, Jon Stephen Bentley, Eric Stephen (Missy) Bentley; stepdaughters, Daneese Langford, Lea (Tim) Wermter; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
