Shane Aaron Schwersinske, age 49, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on March 5, 1974, in Burien, Washington, Shane was the son of Susan Hacken and Gary Schwersinske.
 

Shane brought joy and laughter to those around him with his zest for life and compassionate spirit. Though he faced challenges in his life, he approached each day with an unwavering determination that inspired those who knew him.


 Shane's love for hip hop music was undeniable and filled his days with rhythm and soul. He found solace and joy in the melodic beats, and his rhythmic spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all those he touched.
 
 His favorite indulgences included sipping on Mountain Dew and savoring the sweet delight of Butterfingers candy bars. These simple pleasures brought a smile to Shane's face and added a touch of sweetness to his life.
 
 Shane's memory will forever be cherished by his son, Brenden Wells, and his fiancée, Julie Wells. He will also be lovingly remembered by his mother, Susan Hacken (Thomas Pelzer), along with his father, Gary (Tracy) Schwersinskie. In addition, he leaves behind siblings: Jennifer Stewart (Don), Myndi Aliffi (Antonio), Shanna Stone, Chance Amos, and Adam Schwersinske. Shane's circle of family and friends, who were touched by his kindness and compassion, will carry his memory in their hearts for years to come.
 
 The journey of life may have come to an end for Shane Schwersinske, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. A ceremony to celebrate and honor his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  His family will greet friends one half hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
 
 As we mourn the loss of a beloved son, father, fiancée, sibling, and friend, let us remember Shane's vibrant spirit, unwavering love, and the imprint he left on our lives. His memory will be forever cherished, and his legacy will serve as a reminder of the strength and resilience that resides within us all.
 
 Rest in peace, dear Shane. May your journey to eternal peace be filled with the harmonious melodies of your favorite hip hop tracks, and may your soul find solace in the sweet indulgence of everlasting joy.
