Scott Sobiech

Scott John Sobiech, age 47, of Scandia, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 28, 2022.  Born to Ron and Barb Sobiech, Scott was a generous and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.  Scott had a playful nature, a love of animals and a big contagious smile.  Scott was loved by everyone who knew him.  He enjoyed fishing, live music, gardening and spending time with family and friends.  Scott lit up any room he walked into.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Verle Sobiech and Leo and Ruth Ciminski-Nutter; former wife, Tammy Sobiech.  He will be deeply missed by his wife, Lisa Sobiech; son, Derrick Sobiech; parents, Ron and Barb Sobiech; brother, Todd (Desire’) Sobiech; niece Madelynne Sobiech; nephew, Colton Sobiech; four legged children, Jax and Spirit; father-in-law and mother- in-law, Jim and Doreen Nohr; brother-in-law, David (Sarah Bakke) Nohr.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family and may be directed via Venmo @Lisa-Sobiech
