Samuel Furrer Jr

Samuel Arthur Furrer Jr., age 81 of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.    Sam was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather.  He is preceded in death by his wife Anne on September 8, 2008; parents, Samuel & Inga (Halseth) Furrer Sr.; siblings, Doris Bengtson, Donald, Gene, Robert. He is survived by children, Sharon (George) Saul, Dale (Cindy) Furrer; grandchildren, Eric (Amanda) Dailey, Ann Dailey, Allison Furrer, Tara (John) Thielen, Kyle Furrer; great grandson Ryan Dailey; siblings, Paul (Judy), Floyd (Marilyn) Cheryl; many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
