Roger Gierke

Roger Arnold Gierke, age 80, wrote the final chapter of his story on September 3, 2022, surrounded by love.

Despite a lengthy battle with his health, Roger continued to shine his light and face each challenge with an amazing wit, sense of humor and love for his family.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his children, and many grandchildren.  The love that he poured into his family daily will continue to fill the tremendous void his absence has created.

Roger will be honored in a gathering on September 10, 2022 from Noon-4PM at the Forest Lake American Legion, 355 West Broadway Avenue, Forest Lake.  In lieu of flowers, buy a drink for a friend and sit down and tell a story.  Remember, it isn’t goodbye, it’s ‘Bye for Now’.
