Robert (Bob) Sosnoski of Burnsville, Minnesota, left his earthly home to start his new life in heaven on June 13, 2020.

Bob was born to Edward and Cyrilla Sosnoski on June 6, 1943.  Although he lived a few years in Stanton and then St. Paul, he spent most of his years growing up in Farmington, Minnesota.

After high school, Bob enlisted in the Navy and proudly served our country during the Vietnam war.  The schooling he received while in the Navy prepared him for his jobs at Western Electric and Lucent Technologies where he worked for over 40 years.

On December 28, 1974,  Bob and Judy were married at Glenwood Lutheran Church.  They had two sons named Mike and Tom.

Bob enjoyed sailing, scuba diving, skiing, gardening, woodworking, pottery, and playing cribbage.  He was happiest when he was outdoors, near water, and with his family.

He will be remembered for his love of family and friends and his strong faith in God.  He was a very caring, loving and patient man.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Cyrilla (Kartak) Sosnoski.  He will be deeply missed by his wife of 45 years, Judy; sons Mike (Rochelle), Tom; grandchildren, Jacob, Vanessa, Norah; brother, Bill (Iona); brother-in-law, David Braaten and many others.

We choose to stay away from friends and loved ones at this time so that some day, when we can all get together again, everyone will be there.  That is why a memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace Church, Burnsville, at a date yet to be determined.

To be notified of the date and time when the service has been decided, please email service4bob@protonmail.com
