Robert W. Rheault

Robert “Bob” William Rheault, of Mounds View, Minnesota, passed away suddenly on May 28, 2026, following a very brief illness. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Arius and Elinore Rheault and sister, Susan Palony of Millington, TN. He is survived by his brother, Charles (Lolita) Rheault of Forest Lake; sister, Beverly Lutz of Aiken, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bob was born in St Paul, Minnesota in 1957 and grew up in North St Paul, graduating from high school there.

He chose to live a simple life as avid outdoorsman, spending time with friends and family hunting and fishing. He was always proud when he could bring home game to fill his freezer. Many of us enjoyed his goose stew or goose tacos at his self-hosted birthday party each year. If you wished, he was ready and willing to whip up one of his margaritas. At the time of his death, he had completed the planting of his annual garden beds.

Bob loved a great bargain and was on the constant lookout for items to his ever-growing collection of VHS, DVD, CDs and albums, sometimes, duplicating items already in the collection.

Bob left us too soon and we will miss his quirky, uniquely Bob character.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
