Robert F. Henderson, age 89 of Wyoming, Minnesota passed on to peace and joy at home May 26, 2009. Longtime owner of Tri-State Bearing, Minneapolis. WWII ArmyVeteran 9 th Infantry Division. Served in Europe 1942-1945; participated in 8 campaigns, 3 amphibious invasions including North Africa, Sicily, 2 nd wave Omaha Beach D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Hürtgen Forest, Remagen Bridge, Kasserine Pass, and helped liberate Nordhausen Labor Camp. 50 year member of the Masons, American Legion & VFW. Preceded in death by first wife, Marie. Survived by wife of 34 years, Marcia; sons Scott Henderson, Scott D. (Merita) Olson, Peter (Della) Olson; grandchildren David, Cole, Augustina “Gusty”, Josie; many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
