Richard P. Lang, age 90 of Forest Lake, passed peacefully in his sleep on July 27, 2015, after a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by wife, Lorraine; daughter, Darlene Gogerty; siblings, Doris Dorriot, Virginia Larae, Howard, Robert and Donald Lang. Survived by children, Nancy (Clay) Zimmerman, Sherry (Myron) Organ, Ronald Lang; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, James (Butch), William, Evelyn Bohn; sister-in-law, Betsy Lang. Richard had served as Chief of Police for Lexington, MN and drove truck for 30 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 31, 2015 at Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
