Richard J. Jungwirth, age 92, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
A proud Korean War veteran who honorably served in the United States Army, Richard lived a life rooted in gratitude, service, and quiet strength. His deep family values and profound devotion to his Catholic faith guided the way he lived, loved, and cared for others. After his military service, he dedicated many years to his work at American Hoist & Derrick and AmClyde Engineering.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna (Lentch); son-in-law, Larry LeMay; granddaughter, Brianna Jungwirth; and siblings, Edward, Alvera Winkler, Dolores Loomis, Marguerite Jones, and Rita Chial.
Richard will be profoundly missed by his beloved wife of 69 years, Margaret; children, Gregg (Roxanne), Pam (Kevin) Quast, Debbie LeMay, Mark (Lisa), and Dave; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the Mass at the church. A luncheon will follow.
Private interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
