Erickson, Richard D., 74, of Scandia, died peacefully January. 17 after a 10-month battle with Leukemia. Prededed in death by his father, Laney; mother, Florence; and brother Leonard. Survived by wife of 56 years, Arlene, Scandia, MN; sons, Rick (Becky), Tom (Deb), all of Juneau, AK; daughter, Pat (Tom) Tuccitto, Scandia, MN; 8 grandchildren, Scott, Amy, Peter, and Alex Erickson, Geno, Joe, Angie, and Matt Tuccitto; 3 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Danielle and Brayden Erickson; brother, Kenneth (Carla) Erickson; sisters, Elvera Ufer and Sandi Goski; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a 20-year Col. of the Confederate Air Force and life-long member of North-west Airline Sportman Assoc. Funeral Service 1 PM Mondau, January 21 at Elim Lutheran Church, Scandia. Visitation 2-6 PM Sunday (Today) at Mattson Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Internment Elim Lutheran Cemetery.
