Randy Hook

Randy Hook, age 70, of Forest Lake, passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2024.

Born on June 14, 1953, Randy was a gentle and loving soul who brought joy to all those around him.

Randy will forever be remembered for his unwavering love and devotion to his wife, JoJean Hook, whom he cherished deeply. He found great joy in the simple moments spent with his family, from his children to his grandchildren and even great-grandchildren. His love extended even to his beloved puppies, who brought him comfort and companionship.

A man of varied interests, Randy found great joy in his travels, whether embarking on cruises, exploring new destinations, or simply experiencing the freedom of motorcycle rides. His thoughtful nature shone through in his impeccable gift-giving, always taking the time to choose gifts that held meaning for each recipient.

Randy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Marion; brother, Marv; sisters, Marcella Beckman, Maxine Peck; mother of his daughters, Jane.

He is survived by wife, JoJean; daughters, Sally, Heidi (Steve); stepson, Harley (Sam); grandchildren, Ashley (Travis), Christopher, Jessica, Mikko, Grace, Finley; great grandchildren, Bentley, Avery, SkyLynn, Maven, Hailey, MacKenzie, Wyatt, Aubree, Jameson; sister, Gloria (Chris); brother, Arlin; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN. Family will be greeting friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
