Ramona is survived by her son, Norman Hall; daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Wiley Flack; son and daughter-in-law, Curt and Karen Hall; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Sue Gronos; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister Pat Engel; and daughter-in-law Veronica (Chasney) Hall.

Ramona was born on June 16, 1928 in Devil’s Lake, ND to Raymond and Amy Gronos.  She graduated from Jamestown College and moved to Minneapolis, MN where she put her chemistry degree to work.  She married Clinton Hall and started a family. Clint obtained his law degree and opened a practice in Rushford, MN where Ramona was a legal secretary and prepared taxes for clients. She was active in politics when Clint was elected to four terms in the Minnesota House of Representatives.  Eventually they moved to Forest Lake where Ramona founded Forest Lake Travel.  She took great pride in sending travelers on amazing adventures with cruising being her favorite.  She traveled the world and had an amazing collection of keepsakes, photos and stories that she loved to share.

Ramona was a very involved volunteer for the Minnesota Science Museum, Masquers Theatre, Fairview Hospital Auxilary and The Lakes Center for Youth & Families. She was also a Cub and Girl Scout leader, substitute teacher, Rotarian and member of the Forest Lake Chamber of Commerce where she once served as president.

Playing bridge with her dear friends was a highlight of her life. She enjoyed painting, knitting afghans for family and many other crafts such as needlepoint, stained glass, ceramics and creating unique Christmas ornaments.  She also enjoyed watching ice-skating and was a Minnesota Opera season ticket holder.
