Peter Laverty, age 29, of Forest Lake, Minnesota, died unexpectedly as a result of complications from a medical issue on Sunday, May 10, 2020.  Peter was born August 8, 1990 in Forest Lake, Minnesota the son of Michael and Linda Laverty.  He attended Forest Lake High School and was part of the graduating Class of 2009.  Following graduation, Peter attended Anoka Technical College where he graduated with an associate degree in CNC Machining.  He was currently working as a machinist at CMD Precision Manufacturing in Forest Lake.  Peter was a talented drummer and artist with a passion for his career.  He was a kind, caring, hardworking man who had great determination through the challenges he encountered in life.  Peter enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, but above all his greatest joy was his son Ayden.  He looked forward to every moment with him and loved being Ayden’s Daddy.  He was silly and fun with him, while also guiding and teaching his son in a tender and loving way.  Peter’s kind heart and beautiful smile will live on in the life of his precious Ayden.

Peter is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roger Larson and Charles Laverty.  He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him including his son, Ayden; parents, Mike and Linda Laverty; brother, Thomas Laverty; grandmothers, Janet Larson and Leona Laverty; aunts and uncles, Cindy Larson, Sue and Lindsay Livingood, Angie Larson; Julia Laverty, Mary Laverty, David Laverty, the mother of his son, Mandi Beck; many cousins and friends.

A Celebration to Honor His Life will be held at a later date.
