Nancy Howard

Nancy Howard, age 73, of Columbus, Minnesota, died Saturday, June 11, 2022.  Nancy was born August 18, 1948, in Niagara Falls, New York, the daughter of Ellsworth and Alice (nee Shafer) Peterson.  Nancy was a renowned breeder of champion Australian Shepherds. She devoted her life and loved every minute of showing and continuing the breed.  In addition to her dogs, Nancy loved her house and her land, she looked forward to her time of solitude with nature.  Nancy will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.
