She was born April 16, 1917 to Costain & Emily (Estrin) Johnson in Hawley, Minnesota
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Grant; brother, Ernest Johnson; and sister, Mildred Olson.
Myrtle is survived by her son, Duane (Nancy) Nelson; daughter, Jean Anderson both of Chisago City; sister, Deloris Keppler of Inver Grove Heights; grandsons, Scot Long, Dan Long, Mark Long, Jeff Nelson, Gary Nelson; great grandchildren, Mark Long, Taylor Nelson, Stephanie Nelson, Joey Nelson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral service 10 AM, Tuesday, November. 27, 2007 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 5-8 PM, Monday and one hour prior to service Tues. at the funeral home. Interment in Oak Park Cemetery.
