Preceded in death by his wife, Erva; brother Maynard; son-in-law Paul Morrison. He is survived by his children, Sheryll L. Morrison, Terance D. Barsness, Scott A. (Lori) Barsness; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a brother; 2 sisters; and special pals Spike & Wiley. Merrill served with the U.S. Navy during WWII as on Gunner on a sub chaser. He loved to hunt and fish, most importantly, he loved time with his family and friends.
A Celebration of Merrill’s Life will be held 4 PM, Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Immanuel Church, 9511 W. Broadway Ave., Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
