Mary Meehan

Mary Meehan, age 66, of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on July 3, 2021, after a short battle with metastatic melanoma.

She is preceded in death by husband, Michael; parents, John and Margaret; brother, Thomas; and sister, Laura Ann.  Survived by children, Katie (Zach), Nick (Kayla); grandchildren, Wyatt, Theron, Harper, Finnley; siblings, Dan (Suzanne), Barb (Steve), John (Barb); many nieces and nephews; her work family; beloved cats, Toby and Cartman; other family members and close friends.

A special thank you to Mary’s sister Barb, who has been a dedicated caregiver since her diagnosis.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or memorials to the family.

A funeral service will be held at 5:30 pm, on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Forest Lake Christian Church, 420 West Broadway, Forest Lake.  Visitation will be 3-5:30 pm, before the service at the church.  A private burial will take place at a later date.
