Marlene "Mar" Schultz

Marlene “Mar” Lois Schultz, age 84, of Forest Lake, originally from St. Paul, passed away after a short illness on December 29, 2021.  Mar was one of six children.  She had a love for the outdoors and that translated in her meticulous yard.  She enjoyed playing slots and fast cars; her Firebird and 67 impala convertible, to name a few. Mar had a heart of gold and took on the roll as caregiver for 20 years.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lois Fischer; sister, Joan Nutzman; brothers, Edward and Donald.  She is survived by brothers, Mike Fischer, Frank Fischer; nephews, Scotty and Jerry.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Dr., Forest Lake.  Family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
