Marion R. Saganski, age 97, of Wyoming, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025. A woman of quiet strength, gentle humor, and steadfast devotion, Marion lived a long life filled with care for others and simple pleasures that brought her great joy.
Marion was born on February 1, 1928, in Appleton, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Hanna (Beletz) Quernemoen. She grew up with a strong sense of responsibility and family, qualities that carried throughout her life and shaped the way she touched those around her.
For many years, Marion worked as a laundress for Brooklyn Park Junior High School and later for Park Center Senior High School. The students and staff who crossed her path often remembered her warm presence and the pride she took in her work. Beyond her employment, one of her most meaningful roles was serving as a personal care assistant for her nephew Jared, a role she embraced with patience, devotion, and love.
Marion had a gift for crochet, creating countless afghans that wrapped family and friends in the warmth of her craft. Each stitch reflected her creativity, her care, and the quiet, thoughtful way she expressed affection.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie Saganski; her brothers, Alfred and Charles; and her sister, Viola.
Marion is survived by her sister-in-law, Sue Quernemoen; her nephews, Jared Quernemoen and John Quernemoen; as well as extended family and friends whose lives were brightened by her kindness and steady presence.
A celebration of Marion’s life will be held in the spring of 2026, when family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the gentle, generous spirit she shared so freely.
