Marilyn (Ehmke) Turi, age 74, of Chisago City
enjoyed life to the fullest, but died April 30, 2006 after a battle with lung cancer. She was born February 9, 1932 to John S. and Marquerite (Och) Peschel in St. Paul, Minnesota.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Turi.
Survived by son, Billy Ehmke; sister, Lucille Grosinger; brother, Ronald Peschel; five stepchildren: Edward (Patricia), Charles (Patti), Timothy (Lois), Kathleen (Richard) Silha, John (Linda); grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am, Friday, May 5, 2006 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 13060 Lake Blvd., Lindstrom. Visitation on Friday, one hour prior to mass at the church. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to American Cancer Society in her name.
