Lynne A. Johnson

Lynne A. Johnson, age 74, of Linwood Township, Minnesota, died peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2026.

Lynne was born on October 21, 1951, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of George and Agnes (Rohr) Oczak. She grew up in Linwood, Minnesota, and graduated from Forest Lake High School with the Class of 1969.

It was during her teenage years that Lynne met the love of her life, Bruce Johnson. Bruce would come to Fawn Lake to visit his uncle, who had a cabin there, and before long, he and Lynne became inseparable. What began as a young love grew into a beautiful partnership that would last more than 56 years. Lynne and Bruce were married on May 23, 1970, at St. Gregory Catholic Church in North Branch, Minnesota.

Together, Lynne and Bruce built a life and raised their family in Linwood Township. They truly did everything together. They worked side by side at West Publishing, where Lynne was a proofreader, and later at HealthEast, where she worked as a billing specialist. In 2011, they retired together, giving them even more time to enjoy the life they had created side by side.

Lynne was a happy and outgoing woman who found joy in the simple things and in being surrounded by the people she loved. She was creative and enjoyed crafting, crocheting, painting and reading. But of all the things she loved, nothing compared to her family. She was an amazing mom and an incredible grandma—some would simply say the Best Ever!

Her grandchildren held a particularly special place in her heart. Lynne cherished every moment spent with Charlie, Cooper and Callie, and she had a way of making them feel deeply loved, supported and celebrated. The memories they made together will remain a treasured part of their lives.

Lynne's life was one filled with love, laughter, family and togetherness. From the young girl who fell in love at Fawn Lake to the wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend she became, she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through the people who were fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Agnes, and five siblings.

Lynne will be deeply missed by her beloved husband and lifelong partner, Bruce; sons, Randy and Ryan (Missy); grandchildren, Charlie, Cooper and Callie; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Though her absence will be deeply felt, the love Lynne gave so freely will remain—in the stories shared, the memories made, the laughter that carries her spirit forward, and most of all, in the family she loved so very much.
