Age 79, of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2010. Preceded in death by parents, William & Ida; 7 brothers; 4 sisters; son-in-law Bill Orth.
He is survived by his wife Gladys; son Eric (Mishawn); stepchildren, Wayne (Renee) Chambard, Charles (Trina) Chambard, Jean Orth, Elene (Larry) Kahler, sisters-in-law, Lillian, Jean and Betty Kuitunen; 7 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Les retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 20 years. He then went to work for the State of Minnesota, retiring in 1996 from the DNR Division of Waters.
Funeral Service 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive. Visitation 2:00 p.m. until the time of service, Sunday. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
