Leslie Peterson

Leslie L. Peterson, age 96, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 26, 2015. Preceded in death by first wife, Norma; parents; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth; children, Lee (Elaine), Nancy Oehrlein (Andy Timmermanis), Sue (Roy) Bailey, Vicki Presley; special grandchildren and caretakers, Terry (Mary) Peterson, Jody Steele (Rick Dickinson); many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren. Les was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and longtime employee of St. Paul Public Schools. He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He was known for his joking and flirting. He will always be missed. Funeral Service 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 12-2 p.m., Wednesday. Interment at Union Cemetery, St. Paul.
