 Laura Lucille Mendez

December 29, 1926 – January 14, 2024

Of Chisago City, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side as the angels came to fly our beautiful Mom on the wings of a golden butterfly to the Rainbow Bridge to unite with her beloved pets.  She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; sons-in-law, Bernie and Jeff; grandchildren, Bernie Jr., Jenny; great grandson, Josh.  She is survived by her loving husband of 78 years, Nicholas; children, Raymond, Larry (Joanne), June (Dave) Juanita, Nick (Karen), Roxanne; grandchildren, Terry, Devon, Julia, Evangline, Angela, Sherry, Lori, Toni, Reina, Larry Jr., Joseph, Kimberly, Fred, Ray, Jovita, Nick, Brandi, Melissa, Mark; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
