Age 84, of Eagan, formerly of Forest Lake.
Our loving mother, grandmother, and aunt went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 27, 2010, after a courageous battle with ALS. She is free now, but we will forever mourn her loss.
Preceded in death by first husband Dean Gilchrist; second husband George Carlson; brothers, Melvin, Myron; sister Dorothy Burch. She leaves behind her daughter Shelley Potter (nee Gilchrist); stepchildren, Judy (Larry) Walker (nee Gilchrist), Dean (January) Gilchrist; grandson John Gilchrist (Jenny Booth) Potter; many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September. 1, 2010 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Forest Lake. Memorials preferred to the family.
