Kevin John Hajney

Kevin John Hajney, 66 of Forest Lake, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on January 24th, 2026.

Kevin was an avid car enthusiast, fisherman and was a talented wood craftsman. He loved traveling and spending time by the ocean or on the lake casting a line. Cribbage nights with family were another favorite past time of his.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Joan Hajney; brother, Shawn Hajney; brother-in-law, Dennis Prokop; and sister-in-law, Marigale Prokop; children, Jason Hajney, Jeniffer (Colton) Breitkreutz, Jeffrey (Patty) Hajney, and Judith Hajney. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, Zachary, Riley, Jacob, Emma, Lilly. Jesse, Joseph and Alyssa.

Visitation will be held 3-6 PM, on Friday, February 20th, 2026, at the Forest Lake American Legion, Post #225, 355 West Broadway Ave, Forest Lake, MN, 55025.
