Joseph Wishy

Joseph R. Wishy, age 81, of Lindstrom, formerly of Bloomington. Passed away peacefully on September 30, 2016 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph & Mathilda. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Carolyn; children, Kevin (Pat), Craig (Teri Jo), Kelly Coutier (Chris); grandchildren, Joe (Kellie), Ryan, Brianna, Forrest, Rosemarie, Brooke, Connor, Remington, Kaden; great grandson, Owen; great granddaughter on the way; and brother, Chuck (MJ). Joe was a member of the Lindstrom City Council and proud member of the Vintage Thunderbird Club. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church, 13060 Lake Blvd., Lindstrom. Visitation 5-8 p.m., Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will continue 10-11 a.m., Friday at the Church. Interment at Dawn Valley Memorial Park, Bloomington.
