John "Jack" Salverda

John “Jack” C. Salverda, age 84, of Forest Lake, Minnesota.  John was born September 1, 1934 in McGrath Minnesota and passed away June 19, 2019.  He is survived by sons, John, Mark (Pam), Michael (Sandy), Matthew (Olga), Luke (Julie), and James (Vicky), daughters, Mary White and Julie (David) Lee; 28 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; former spouse, Virginia Belisle.  He is preceded in death by parents, John and Madeline; brother, Richard; sisters, Evelyn Corbin and Edith Larson; daughter, Donna (Gary) Whitman; daughter-in-law, Kathy Salverda; former spouse, Thel Salverda.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday June 24, 2019 at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 S Shore Dr., Forest Lake, MN.  Visitation 1 hour prior to mass at the church.  Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in McGrath, MN.
