Jody Louise Preisler

Jody Louise Preisler, age 69 of Forest Lake, MN; loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother passed away on Thursday June 26th, 2025.

Born in Forest Lake, MN at the old hospital on South Shore Drive on August 10th, 1955, delivered by Dr.Ruggles. She was a cheerleader at the age of 3. YAH RAH RAH. She was referred to as “The Little Mascot.” She did odd jobs and worked as an administrative assistant for US Bank. She hated hobbies but was an excellent cook. She did not bake as it was “too tedious”, unless it came out of a box. Her favorite thing to do was dance. She was always into Rock and Roll, so be prepared to listen to the oldies but goodies. A huge thank you to ALL the family members and friends who help care for Jody.

She is proceeded in death by her brother, Scott; father, Ted, mother, Carol; and her beloved son, Shawn. Survived by her daughter, Jillian (Josh) Lehner, grandsons, Preston, Ezra (Dezi); daughter-in-law, Annie Preisler; granddaughters, Anika and Aubrey; grandsons, Elijah, Amittai and Orion; sister, Wendy (Kevin) McKinnon; many nieces, nephews, grauntie to great nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends who were considered family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN.  Family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Private family burial at Scandinavian Cemetery.
