Joan M Biggs

Joan M. Biggs, age 86 of Forest Lake, Minnesota, went home to be with Jesus on November 16, 2022

Joan was the former co-owner of Gulden’s Roadhouse and 3 other local restaurants.  Joan was known for her laugh, smile, her zest for life, her ability to make everyone feel welcome and all the memories shared during Fourth of July, Christmas and football parties.  Joan loved to entertain family and friends, perhaps it was her ability to make everyone feel welcome that leaves so many with a huge void in her passing.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Jeannette; husband, Doyle; son, Mark Allen; siblings, Arnold, Margie; sister-in-law, Nora.

She is survived by her children, Rick (Mollie); Vicki (Peter) Aubin, Susan (Bob) Williams; eight grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; sister Carol, (Merle); Dave, (Margaret), John; many, many relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Forest Hills United Methodist Church, 1790 11th Street SE, Forest Lake, Minnesota.  The family will greet friends from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.  A luncheon will follow in the church hall.
