With broken hearts we announce the loss of Jeffrey Scott Lucht, 64 of Hugo, MN who passed away on November 17, 2021 at M Health Fairview of Wyoming, MN due to complications of COVID-19.
Jeff was born on February 12, 1957 in Crookston, Minnesota to Earl Henry Lucht and Delores Ramona Filler. He attended Washington Elementary, Crookston Central High, and college in Bemidji. He became a meat cutter in Hayfield, Minnesota and moved to the cities and worked at Shopper's City and Red Owl. He continued his craft and worked for Knowlans & Festival Foods for 45 years. He met his wife while working at Festival Foods, they married on November 27, 1997. He always enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.
Jeff is survived by spouse, Mary K Lucht; daughter, Jenna Lea (Danilo) Ferriera; sons, Jesse John, Jake Henry; grandchildren, Moira Lucht, Leon Ferriera; siblings, Gloria (Mark) Hendrickson, Stephen, Janet (Brian) Creelman, and Kristie Schulz, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Henry Lucht & Delores Ramona Filler; sister, Marsha Lea Brown, and nephew, Weston Earl Lucht.
A private family viewing will be held November 20, 2021 at the Mattson Funeral Home in Forest Lake, MN. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Hugo, MN in April, 2022. Memorials are preferred to MN Adult & Teen Challenge. Please plant a tree in memory of Jeff.
