Jean Anderson

Jean Louise Anderson, age 85, peacefully succumbed to her illness on October 15th, 2018 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN after bravely fighting for many months. Preceded in death by her husband Marvin, daughter Lori Brodtmann, brothers Jim and Ray Rooney, and sisters Donna King and Carol Majerus. Survived by her sisters Eunice Kolstad and Barbara Rooney, her children Steven (Tami) and Sharon (Nick) Novak, son-in-law Dennis Brodtmann, her ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a vast, loving network of nieces, nephews, cousins, card-playing friends, fellow Fall-color road-trippers, and the hundreds that she generously and lovingly fed. Visitation will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Forest Lake, MN at 12:30pm, October 21st, with service to follow at 1:30pm. A public burial will be held at Scandinavian Cemetery in Forest Lake.
