James Saenger Sr.

James E. Saenger Sr., age 89, of Coon Lake Beach, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2020.

He was born on September 11, 1930 in Robbinsdale MN. He is preceded in death by parents, Louis and Anna; ex-wife, Charlotte; sister, Dorthy (Dale) Howard; brothers and sisters in law, Richard (Beverly), Leroy (Dorthy), George (Kathleen); niece, Bunny; nephews, Bucky, Dale Jr., and James.
Jim loved the outdoors, his passion for fishing and hunting brought many great stories. He will be remembered as a very kind and giving soul with a one of a kind personality. His knowlege, stories, smile and presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. TA-DE-DA.

Jim is survived by daughter, Charity (Jon) Michna; sons, Louis Saenger, James (Diana) Saenger Jr., 5 granddaughters, Heather (Travis Sr.), Amber, Jessica (Chris Hanna), Kalahan, Brooklyn; 6 great grandchildren, Tyler, Isa, Tayah, Brylee, Travis Jr., Kelsey; many nieces, nephews, and all his Coon Lake friends.
A Celebration of his life will be held at Coon Lake Community Center at a later date.
