James Glyer

James Leonard Glyer, age 80, of Hugo, Minnesota died February 24, 2022.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Eleanor Glyer; second wife, Diane Schipper.  Survived by his first wife, Jean Glyer; sister, Maryanne (Robert) Eliason; children, Isidore, Cindy, Dave (Kay), Greg Glyer; step-children, Matt Shipquist, Paul Schipper; grandchildren, Holly, Elizabeth, Emma Glyer, Aiyana, Bryndyn, Zea, Kodiak Shipquist; great-grandchildren, Declan Sporlin, Kira Knox, Analisa Shipquist; wonderful family and many loving friends.  Jim will be remembered for his “words on the wall”, sense of humor, and his love of reading.  Dad, you will be missed!

The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
