It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Isaiah Oskar-William Henry, also notoriously nicknamed “Hank”. Isaiah was born October 11, 1995, and tragically passed May 15, 2026, in an automobile accident.
He was a strong, gentle giant with a huge heart, ready to help with kind eyes and a warm smile. He was quiet, thoughtful, loud and joyful, determined and brave, bold, funny, loyal to friends and family, and could grill the world’s best steak. He loved his family and friends fiercely, his dream dog, Boone, he was an avid downhill skier, baseball player, duck hunter, pheasant hunter, fisherman, athlete, "retired" powerlifter, arm wrestling champion, rodeo fan, loved music and concerts, cooking, spending time with his mom, his dad and older brother, his grandparents, and friends from all different walks in life. He loved learning, history, making others laugh, dancing, singing and wasn’t shy in front of an audience. He knew almost every type of bird and had the world's best sense of smell.
Since he was a small boy, Isaiah had an amazing ability to wake up each day anew and cheerful, as if whatever happened the day before no longer existed. His heart was just as big as he was.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Tammy (nee Schirmer) (Michael "Skip" Songer) Mhanna, Mike Henry, his brother, Samuel Henry (Camila), his maternal grandparents, Fred Schirmer, Shirley (Walters) Huntsperger and Poppa Rob, paternal grandparents, Sandra and Dale Lemmerman and the late, Philip Henny, his niece, Angie Henry and nephew, Easton Henry, his maternal uncles, Nathan, Jasan (Erica Eck), Stuart Schirmer and his paternal aunt, Fran (Dwight) Young.
He leaves behind numerous cousins; special cousin in shenanigans, Coral Schirmer, and many friends from Coon Lake, Side Lake, Hibbing, Chisholm, Anchorage, Alaska, and wherever he happened to be.
He is preceded in death by his sweet dog, Yukon.
