Ian Nelson

Ian David Nelson, age 38, of Stillwater, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on Sunday September 2nd, 2018. He was loved by many and had many friends throughout the St. Croix Valley.

He is preceded in death by his parents David Nelson and Joyce Nelson (McNellis); His grandparents Minnie and Jon McNellis and Wanda and Duane Nelson. He was survived by his 3 sons, Gavin Ian Nelson (16, from a previous relationship), Ian Micheal David Nelson (6), Rayian James Nelson (5); his wife Mary Nelson (28); his sisters Elizabeth Nelson (40) and Heather Nelson (29), and his brother Trevor (36).

Ian was a wonderful man whom God took way to soon. We, his family, will always remember him as a funny, kind, gentle soul, and TOTALLY Charismatic! He could charm a frog to be in love with him. He loved his Irish roots and absolutely loved his rap music. Was a diehard Vikings fan. He absolutely loved his 3 boys more than life itself.

Celebration of his life will be held on Oct. 13th, 2018 at Katherine Abbott Park 1000 Lincolntown Ave
Mahtomedi, Minnesota 55115, From 5pm to 9pm. We will be having a pot luck and would love for all his family and friends to come join us and celebrate this wonderful man's small presence on this Earth.
