Helen M. Peterson, age 92, formerly of Coon Lake, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Helen will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her generosity and giving nature will never be forgotten She is preceded in death by her parents, Nels and Louisa Nelson; husband Randolph; siblings, Lucille McDonald, Alice Exsted, Carl Harms. She will be dearly missed by her children, Lucy (Bob) Stromgren, Janice (Gerry) Elliott, Karon (Jim) Coffman, Randy (Kathy) Peterson; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Kermit (Evelyn) McDonald. Memorial Service details will be announced at a later date. Memorials are preferred to State Services of the Blind, Redeeming Grace Lutheran Church, 14077 Monarch Lane, Rogers, Minnesota 55374 or a charity of choice.
